Cinq is the perfect solution to accessing your photo library while on the go. No matter where you are in the world, Cinq is with you, allowing you to view, save and add to your photo library anytime, anywhere. As long as you have an Internet connection, your photos are within the reach of Cinq. Your photos stay in one place, but you don’t have to.
Cinq connects your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to every PC or Mac you own that has photos. If you are using a Mac, you can also view your iPhoto library, including the same folders and organization from your desktop version! Images are transferred wirelessly to browse, and then open in full resolution on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, you can take pictures within the app that are sent immediately and wirelessly to your home iPhoto library, taking any risk out of capturing those once-in-a-lifetime shots with your phone.
Cinq keeps you connected to all your photos anywhere, anytime. Now, all your photos are with you all the time, organized just as you have them organized on you Mac or PC. Imagine talking to your friends and remembering a photo from an event years ago. With Cinq, you could browse through your photo library, find the photo, upload it to Facebook or Twitter, or print it using AirPrint and relive the experience with your friends all over again. Even taking pictures on the go is a great experience with Cinq, and if you ever lose your iPhone, any photos you’ve taken with Cinq Photo are secure on your Mac or PC.
- An iPad, iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4.2 or higher
- Intel Mac computer with OSX 10.5 or higher

- Download and install the Cinq Photo App from iTunes or through the App Store on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
- Signup for a free Tunaverse Account through Cinq Photo’s in-App Accounts screen
- Download and install Cinq Server onto your Mac or PC. Cinq Server software is available on the Download tab of this website or in the Mac App Store.
- Login to the Cinq Server on your Mac or PC with the email address and password you used to create your account in the Cinq Photo App. Do this by clicking on the Cinq icon on the Menu Bar on your Mac or in the system tray on your PC.
- Login to the Cinq Photo App on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

Visit the download page here or get it on the Mac App store here. Make sure you run Cinq Server after downloading. Cinq server is compatible with Mac or Windows environments.
After you click the download button, a download window usually opens up. Once the download has completed, Safari will open the folder with the application. Drag the Cinq Server icon onto the Applications Alias, once you have done this installation is complete.
If you do not see a download dialogue, or the folder with Cinq Server does not appear, go into the Home section of your account and look in the download folder. If there is a folder called Cinq Server, open it up. As above, you should be able to drag the application icon onto the Applications Alias to install.
The Cinq Server connects the Cinq Photo App on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to your photo libraries anywhere you have an Internet connection. Because your photo library is stored on your computer, we have to use this small piece of software to connect your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to your images.
The Cinq Photo App will automatically locate the computers running Cinq Server based on your account login, and access your photo library on those computers. Remember that you must have a working Internet connection on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, and your computer must also be connected to Internet with a broadband connection. Once you have connected, you can access your entire photo library remotely.
No, Cinq does not require iPhoto. During the setup procedure you have the option of selecting ʻUse iPhoto Libraryʼ. Cinq Server can import photo folders regardless of this choice.

Cinq can automatically wake up most Mac or PCs. Make sure your Mac or PC is set up to allow for “Wake on LAN”.
You will be notified of updates to the Cinq Photo App through the App Store on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. If you downloaded the Cinq Server App through the Mac App Store, you will be notified of updates automatically through the Mac App Store. When not downloaded from the Mac App Store, the ‘Q’ icon in your PC system tray or on your Mac menu bar also indicates when an update is available.
Yes! Cinq is available for use on Apple Mac computers running OS 10.5 or higher, Microsoft Windows PCs running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
