During the installation, do you recall clicking on the search
button?  Do you use iPhoto also?  We beleive that we are seeing issues
with large photo libraries where the user during installation does the
search and adds all photo folders and also selects the use iPhoto option.

If you think this is likely what occured during installation, can you
please uninstall/delete the Cinq app on the Mac.  Then, go to the
following location:

UserName\Library\Application Support\Cinq

Please delete the "Cinq" folder in that location.  This contains the
Library.plist which contains all of the folders that would be saved in
this configuraion.

Then, please reinstall the Cinq Application and do the install
selection iPhoto only and do not add any folders and let us know if that
works for you.

I'm getting the same problem. I've deleted it entirely off my system and re-downloaded it and still all I got was the spinning beach ball and then crash. I never even have a chance to use the application. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi,

Sorry you are having this issue.  Can you please try deleting and re-installing Cinq Server on your Mac?  We currently only support one iPhoto library.  I'm not sure why you had trouble switching though.  We will investigate further.

Regards,

Curtis

I bought Cing for the iPad and I got Cinqserver to work briefly.   But when I tried changing the iPhoto library to another library (I have multiple libraries that I manager via iPhoto Library Manager) Cinqserver stopped working.   Now when I launch Cinqserver, it starts up, but then all I get is the spinning beach ball when I hover the mouse pointer over the "Q" icon in the menu bar.   Eventually it crashes.  It does consume lots of CPU resources (as indicated by iStat) before it crashes, but I can't get it to open.

Do you know how I can get it to stop crashing?
