OK,
Please let us know if you need any help. You can tell if Cinq Server is running on your Mac if you see our "Q" logo in the task bar.
Regards,
Curtis

I did purchase cinq. Installed server on MAC and tried to connect to the MAC from cinq on the iPad. No luck, but I think I did not have the cinq server running. Will try again and let you know.

Our Cinq Server software runs on the Mac will let you share folders which you can then access from the Cinq for iPad App.
I believe this will work for your situation. Can you please let me know if it does?
Please keep in mind that we have not implemented video…yet.
Regards,
Curtis

I do not store my photos in iPhoto. Instead, I keep them on an external hard drive and use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom along with Pixelmator. Would I still be able to download the photos and videos from my iphone to my iMac or does my workflow preclude the use of cinq? I am getting cinq for the iPad.
